Soboba Band concerned about traffic around casino

The Soboba Band of Luiseno Indians is looking for ways to reduce traffic around its casino in southern California.

The tribe is considering a proposal to reduce the number of seats at the arena at Soboba Casino. The plan would cut 3,500 seats from the 10,000-seat arena to limit the number of people who go to concerts and events at the facility.

"We had some concerns ... just because of the volume of people coming to the casino," Rose Salgado, a tribal council member, said at the annual State of the Valley Address, The Riverside Press-Enterprise reported. "Unfortunately, we have only one access in and one access out, and we're working on that."
