The Quechan Nation is 65 percent closer to opening its new casino resort near Yuma, Arizona. The 300,000-square-foot Quechan Casino Resort will feature a cafe, steakhouse, sports bar, events center and hotel. It's scheduled to open in the spring of 2009. "It will be beautiful and it's state of the art," President Mike Jackson Sr. said during a media preview of the facility, The Yuma Sun reported. "It's not just a casino but an entertainment center.
