"So there I was last weekend, driving down Route 81 in northeastern Pennsylvania, when, quite unexpectedly, I came upon a billboard for the Mohegan Sun.
It was not advertising our own Mohegan Sun here in Uncasville, the original, but the other one, the new Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs, there in Plains Township, Pa.
Naturally, I couldn't resist the opportunity to have a look at one of southeastern Connecticut's biggest exports ever, an entire casino. I decided on the spot to make a detour.
I figure I might as well have an I BRAKE FOR MOHEGAN SUN CASINOS bumper sticker on my car.
I was naturally curious to see how closely the Pennsylvania satellite developed by the Mohegan Indians might resemble the mother ship in Connecticut. Would it be as indistinguishable, say, as one Dunkin' Donuts is from another?"
