NIGC seeks information from Lac du Flambeau Band

The National Indian Gaming Commission has asked the Lac du Flambeau Band of Lake Superior Chippewa for information about the tribe's casino.

The NIGC wants to know how revenues from the Lake of the Torches Casino were spent in the past two years. The information was due June 16.

The tribe has a federally approve revenue allocation plan that includes per capita payments. Tribal members were told they wouldn't receive a share of gaming revenues this year due to financial constraints.
