Seneca Nation offers raise to gaming employees

Citing rising gas prices, the Seneca Nation of New York has given 3,700 gaming employees a $500 raise.

The raise was given to casino and hospitality workers who earn less than $40,000 a year. “With expenses increasing, we wanted to do something to reinforce to our employees that they are our most valued asset,” said Chairman Barry E. Snyder Sr., The Buffalo News reported.

Seneca Gaming Corp. employs nearly 4,300 people.
