Union pulls petition at Mashantucket casino

The United Auto Workers has withdrawn a petition to represent slot technicians at the casino owned by the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation of Connecticut.

The move came after the UAW lost an election at the Foxwoods Resort Casino. The union wouldn't comment on its decision.

The UAW successfully organized among 3,000 card dealers at Foxwoods last year.
