Seneca-Cayuga Tribe wants ex-employee punished

The Seneca-Cayuga Tribe of Oklahoma says a former casino employee should be indicted on criminal charges.

The tribe filed a civil lawsuit in state court against Pat Mae Culver. The tribe says Culver, a former employee of the Grand Lake Casino, stole more than $420,000 in slot machine revenues.

The tribe dropped the case on Tuesday but wants Culver brought up on federal charges. The tribe is asking the Bureau of Indian Affairs and the U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Oklahoma to investigate.

"We’ve asked them to pursue this, and we do not anticipate this going unresolved," attorney Jess Green told The Joplin Globe.
