The Viejas Band of Kumeyaay Indians announced an $800 million expansion of its casino.
The tribe selected Marnell Corrao Associates as its architect. The firm designed the Bellagio and Wynn casinos in Las Vegas.
The project includes a second casino and a 600-room hotel. Plans are still being developed.
