Hundreds seek jobs at Quechan Nation casino

The Quechan Nation plans to hire 1,000 people for its new casino. The Quechan Casino Resort near Yuma, Arizona, is expected to open in February 2009. The job center for the facility debuted yesterday and was swarmed by hundreds of potential employees. "A job right around the Christmas holiday? This has to be some kind of miracle," one applicant told The Yuma Sun. The tribe was seeking financing to complete the $214 million casino. Get the Story:
