The casino owned by the Rincon Band of Luiseno Indians of California is featured in a national ad campaign that aims to attract gay and lesbian customers.
The "Marry in San Diego, Honeymoon in Paris" campaign uses the Harrah's Rincon Casino to promote the tribal facility and another Harrah's property in Las Vegas. "Our commitment there was to become the first national gaming operation to offer the same-sex wedding packages during this window of hope in California," Gwen Migita, Harrah's director of corporate social responsibility, told The Las Vegas Review-Journal.
Same-sex marriage is legal in California but voters are being asked today to amend the state constitution to ban such marriages.
