The Nottawaseppi Huron Band of Potawatomi Indians of Michigan continues work on the $300 million FireKeepers Casino.
Construction is ahead of schedule, The Battle Creek Enquirer reports. The facility is due to open in summer 2009.
The tribe began work after the federal courts cleared a challenge to its land-into-trust application.
