The Saginaw Chippewa Tribe of Michigan is moving ahead with plans to expand one of its casinos even after announcing cuts to gaming jobs.
But the growth of Saganing Eagle's Landing Casino won't come too quickly, given the economic woes facing the nation. The tribe is working on a hotel at the facility, though a timeline for development hasn't been set, and if the market is there, a restaurant and travel plaza.
The tribe is currently eliminating jobs at the Soaring Eagle Casino
and Resort.
