TheSeminole Tribe of Florida isn't affected by the downturn in the national economy, a gaming official said.
Tribes in California and Connecticut, two of the largest markets in the U.S., have seen revenues fall. Even Nevada is reporting huge decreases.
But Jim Allen, the chief executive of gaming operations for the Seminoles, said the market in Florida remains strong. He cited "double-digit growth" at the tribe's Hard Rock facilities.
