The Tulalip Tribes of Washington held a grand opening for its $130 million hotel.
The 12-story, 370-room hotel features 30,000 square-feet of meeting space and a 14,000-square-foot spa. It's part of the Tulalip Resort Casino.
"We had the desire to build something that we didn’t quite know what it would look like, we didn’t know quite what it would represent, but we knew we had to plan for the future,” Tulalip Chairman Mel Sheldon Jr. said, PNWLocalNews.Com reported.
The casino is located in the tribe's Quil Ceda Village.
