Despite the downturn in the economy, the Stillaguamish Tribe of Washington says business at its casino is doing well.
The Angel of the Winds Casino sees about 800,000 visitors a year and will top that this year. The boost comes as the tribe prepares to open an expansion on December 31.
"We've seen a nice increase since we announced the expansion," general manager Travis O'Neil told The Everett Herald. "We have new guests, and some of our current customers are visiting and getting excited for the expansion."
The expansion will nearly quadruple the size of the existing facility.
