The Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians is about to mark the one-year anniversary of its casino in Michigan.
The Four Winds Casino opened to the public on August, 2, 2007. The facility brings in about $24 million a month.
The tribe started the land-into-trust process soon after gaining federal recognition in 1994. Litigation kept the project tied up for years.
