Twenty-Nine Palms Chairman: A good neighbor

"To the citizens, business and civic leaders of Twentynine Palms who joined us for our recent media event at our reservation announcing our NŸwŸ Casino Resort and RV Park project, we thank you for coming out and expressing such strong support. It is difficult to describe what your warm welcome meant to us.

Though the weather at the press conference was chilly, the enthusiastic reception we received from the more than 150 people in attendance was warm and heartfelt. We already feel like we are among good friends working toward the common goal of a brighter future for the area.

And we are excited about that future. We’re excited about creating hundreds of new jobs, excited about working with local businesses, excited about generating millions of dollars in ancillary economic activity, and excited about creating a project that we believe the people of Twentynine Palms will embrace as their own.

We believe the success of this project will be due to the hard work our tribe is committed to doing alongside the people and city of Twentynine Palms. Judging from the strong spirit of cooperation we have experienced already, the NŸwŸ Casino Resort and RV Park should be very successful indeed."
