The Mohegan Tribe of Connecticut will open a permanent casino in Pennsylvania on July 17.
The 300,000-square-foot Mohegan Sun at Pocono
Downs will house 2,150 slot machines. Another 350 machines will remain at an interim facility the tribe opened in November 2006.
The tribe operates slot machines at the facility under a license from the state. Revenues have been higher than expected.
