The Choctaw Nation is in talks to sell the Blue Ribbon Downs, potentially to the Cherokee Nation, according to published reports.
The tribe bought the race track in November 2003 for $4.25 million. Choctaw leaders bragged how they kept their involvement a secret until the last minute.
The track is of interest to the Cherokees because it is within their jurisdictional area. A spokesperson wouldn't confirm or deny that the tribe is negotiating.
