The Fort Mojave Indian Tribe is seeking to negotiate a municipal services agreement for its proposed casino.
The tribe plans to open the casino off a major interstate near Needles, Arizona. The city council has entered negotiations for an agreement.
The tribe submitted a land-into-trust application for the gaming site in August 2004. Chairman Timothy Williams said he hopes to receive final approval for the project before a new president enters the White House.
