With its new casino doing better than expected, the Saginaw Chippewa Tribe is moving quickly on new developments in Standish, Michigan.
The Saganing Eagles Landing Casino opened in January. The tribe earned $17 million in net slot machine profits in the first three months of operation.
The success has the tribe readying a hotel, a restaurant/travel plaza and a sporting goods store with a specialty mall. The projects are located within a few miles of the casino.
