The Seminole Tribe of Florida has installed the first 725 slot machines at its Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tampa.
The slots replace Class II electronic machines that the tribe was running for years. At least one customer missed the old ones, which were based on bingo.
"These new slots aren't as loose or I'm still getting used to them," 83-year-old retiree Dorothy Liberti told The St. Petersburg Times. "I like the old ones."
By June 1, the tribe will have 1,600 slot machines at the facility. New table games are also coming, thanks to a Class III gaming compact.
