Supervisors in Yuba County, California, are submitting their comments on the draft environmental impact statement for the Enterprise Rancheria's proposed casino.
The county is concerned about wastewater treatment and traffic at the casino site. The county wants the tribe to join a regional wastewater system and pay 15 percent of road improvement projects affected by the casino.
The tribe wants to build a 207,760-square-foot casino and 107,125-square-foot hotel near the Sleep Train Amphitheatre. The Bureau of Indian Affairs is taking comments on the draft EIS until May 5.
