A water district in northern California will hold a workshop next Monday to discuss providing services to the Shingle Springs Rancheria.
The El Dorado Irrigation District is limited to providing service to 40 homes on the reservation. That means the tribe will have to haul in water by truck to the Red Hawk Casino that is currently under construction.
The facility is set to open later this year.
