The Seminole Tribe is slowly installing slot machines at its Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tampa, Florida.
The first 56 machines were up and running on Tuesday. The tribe plans to have a total of 725 ready by May 1.
The machines are legal under the tribe's Class III compact. Overall, the tribe plans to offer more than 15,000 machines at its gaming facilities in South Florida.
The compact also authorized banked card games like blackjack and baccarat The tribe is in the midst of hiring
3,650 card dealers for the casinos.
