The Navajo Nation has hired two firms to build its first casino in New Mexico.
The Killian Group of Cos. and Kennedy Wendel will manage and build the facility in Church Rock, near Gallup. Construction is expected start this month, with a grand opening in mid-October.
Kennedy Wendel is owned by Adam Kennedy, a member of the Seneca Nation of New York.
