The Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians is opening a $300 million of its casino in Rancho Mirage, California, in two weeks.
The Agua Caliente Casino Resort Spa will open to the public on April 18. The tribe signed a $5 million agreement with the city to address impacts of the new facility.
As part of the agreement, the tribe gave $420,230 to the city. The one-time payment will be used to help traffic around the casino.
