The Northern Arapaho Tribe of Wyoming is opening a new casino on May 1.
The 45,000-square-foot Wind River Casino will be the largest in the state. It features 750 gaming machines, eight table games, two restaurants, a 4,500-square-foot meeting/conference and entertainment center and other amenities.
The casino is the third for the tribe, which won a major court decision that affirmed its Class III gaming rights on the Wind River Reservation. The state refused to negotiate a compact and was held in bad faith.
