The Wyandotte Nation of Oklahoma is weighing another casino in Kansas.
The tribe operates a Class II facility in downtown Kansas City. The site has been the subject of a lengthy legal battle but the tribe has come out on top so far.
Now there's another site in Park City that could be used for a casino. The tribe submitted a land-into-trust application for 11 acres with the hopes that the parcel will be used for gaming.
Second Chief Billy Friend said there are no firm plans for a casino in Park City. Both the Park City and Kansas City sites were purchased with land claim settlement funds.
