Supervisors in Sonoma County, California, voted 4-1 on Tuesday to approve a $100 million deal with the Dry Creek Rancheria Band of Pomo Indians.
The agreement requires the tribe to spend about $75 million to address the impacts of the River Rock Casinodr and another $25 million in lieu of taxes on its proposed hotel. The payments will be made over 12 years.
In exchange, the county will not challenge the tribe's liquor license. The tribe agreed to limit sales of alcohol at the casino.
