The Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation of Connecticut began accepting reservations for its new hotel, set to open in May.
Within the first few hours, the MGM Grand at Foxwoods already had nearly 200 reservations.
The hotel has 825 rooms and 115,000 square-feet of meeting space.
The facility, a partnership between the tribe and MGM Mirage, opens May 17. In addition to the hotel, it features retail shops, 4,000-seat performing arts theater, a 21,000-square-foot spa and two celebrity chef restaurants.
