A letter circulating in the town of Middleboro, Massachusetts, seeks another vote on a casino proposed by the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe.
At a special town meeting, voters already approved an agreement to host the casino. But the letter claims the issue needs to be put on an upcoming ballot.
The letter doesn't appear to be for or against the casino. Neither the tribe, nor supporters or opponents of the casino, say they are behind it.
The tribe is seeking to have land placed in trust for the project.
