A lawmaker in Connecticut has introduced a bill to ban smoking at the state's two tribal casinos.
The ban would apply to areas of the casinos that are covered by state liquor permits.
That appears to include all of the gaming floor, restaurants and bars at the Foxwoods Resort Casino
and the Mohegan Sun Casino.
A spokesperson for the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation said the bill raises jurisdictional questions.
Senate Bill 419 was introduced by Sen. Mary Ann Handley, a Democrat.
