The Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation of Connecticut announced a partnership to redevelop a resort in the Bahamas.
Foxwoods Development Co., a tribal corporation, signed an agreement with Harcourt Developments, an Irish company. The tribe will provide consultation to Harcourt on the renovation and reopening of the Royal Oasis Resort and will manage the casino, hotel and convention space.
The tribe will not have an ownership stake in the property, however.
