The Twentynine Palms Band of Mission Indians is finalizing an environmental assessment for its proposed casino in southern California.
The Nuwu Casino Resort and RV Park would feature a 60,000-square-foot casino, 100-space RV park, restaurant, bar and hiking trails.
The tribe is also considering a bowling alley and billiards room, movie theater, and a water park.
The environmental report should be ready in about two weeks, the tribe. At least one public hearing will be held before construction starts on the casino.
