Thursday, February 14, 2008
National Indian Gaming Commission Chairman Phil Hogen just said applications are still being accepted for the third position on the commission due to the retirement of Chuck Choney, a member of the Comanche Tribe of Oklahoma. But there are some requirements, Hogen said at the Western Indian Gaming Conference. You have to be a tribal member and you can't be a Republican. "So if you're an Indian Democrat, Independent or Communist," you can apply, he said this morning.
