The Little River Band of Ottawa
Indians is proposing an off-reservation casino in Muskegon, Michigan.
The $100 million project would be twice the size of the Little River Casino on the reservation. It would feature 2,200 slot machines, nearly 1,000 more than the reservation casino.
Two other tribes have proposed casinos in the city. Ogema Larry Romanelli said the Little River Band has greater chance of success since its reservation is about 80 miles away.
