Fresh off their big win on Super Tuesday, four California tribes are already installing new slot machines at their casinos.
Voters approved compacts for the Agua Caliente Band of
Cahuilla Indians, the Morongo Band of Mission
Indians, the Pechanga Band of
Luiseño Indians and the Sycuan
Band of the Kumeyaay Nation. The tribes can now install up to 17,000 slot machines at their casinos.
The Morongo Band will have 400 more machines up and running today. The Pechanga Band will have at least 400 machines ready over the weekend.
The Agua Caliente Band plans to start installing machines next week. Up to 500 will be on the floor by mid-April.
