The Omaha Tribe of Nebraska broke ground on a $3.2 million expansion of its CasinOmaha in Iowa.
The expansion will occur in two phases. The first, to be completed in June, is an entirely new 27,000-square-foot casino, similar in size to the existing facility.
The second phase, which is still in the planning stages, might include a hotel, water park and golf course.
The casino is located on trust land in Iowa.
