The Mohegan Tribe of Connecticut presented its plan for a casino in western Massachusetts.
The tribe wants to bid for one of three commercial casinos that are being proposed in state legislation.
Plans call for a $1 billion resort with 4,000 slot machines, 150 table games, 64,000-square-foot casino, a 600-room hotel, 12 restaurants and food venues and 100,000 square feet of retail space.
The tribe has negotiated a deal to buy 150 acres in Palmer off the Massachusetts Turnpike.
