Casinos in Colorado went smoke-free last Tuesday but not the ones on reservations.
The state's laws do not apply in Indian Country. That means the casinos owned by the Southern Ute Tribe and the Ute Mountain Ute Tribe allow smoking.
The Sky Ute Casino on the Southern Ute Reservation is considering banning smoking or creating designated smoking areas, a manager said.
The Ute Mountain Casino on the Ute Mountain Ute Reservation doesn't plan to make any changes.
