Pequot casino executives resign after union vote

Two longtime executives at the casino owned by the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation of Connecticut have resigned.

Ken Davie, vice president of table games, and Hope Domingo, the administrator in charge of scheduling work shifts for dealers, did not come to work this week. A spokesperson for Foxwoods Resort Casino would not comment.

Card dealers at Foxwoods voted to organize with the United Auto Workers union. The tribe is challenging the vote as an infringement of its sovereignty.
