Three tribes are in the running for a commercial casino in Kansas City, Kansas.
The Kickapoo Tribe and the Sac and Fox Nation have teamed to propose a casino on 77 acres..
Details of their proposal have not been reported.
The Mohegan Tribe is part of another joint proposal for the "Legends Sun" casino. The 750,000-square-foot resort would feature two hotels, retail and residential development and two golf courses on 275 acres.
Voters in the area approved one commercial casino under a new state law that is being challenged by the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation.
