Oklahoma tribes generate nearly $2B in revenues

Oklahoma tribes took in nearly $2 billion at their casinos in 2006, The Oklahoman reports.

That's up 22.7 percent from the year before. And with 92 casinos already in operation, more are on the way.

"I believe there are several new casinos in the planning stages, and a lot of the current casinos are planning expansions," Brian Foster, the chairman of the Oklahoma Indian Gaming Association, tells The Oklahoman.
