Rincon Band files suit over compact negotiations

The Rincon Band of Luiseno Mission Indians is accusing California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger (R) of negotiating in bad faith.

The tribe wants to add more slot machines at its casino. But the state is demanding a cut of the revenues.

The lawsuit says the state can't impose a "tax" on tribal gaming process. Other tribes, however, have negotiated compacts with Schwarzenegger to share their revenues.

The tribe has 1,600 slot machines and wants to offer up to 2,500 machines.
