The Wyandotte Nation of Oklahoma plans to open its out-of-state casino on January 10, 2008.
The 7th Street Casino is a Class II facility. It is located on trust land in downtown Kansas City, Kansas.
The state of Kansas sued to block the casino. But the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals in October dismissed the case because the land was already held in trust.
The state is seeking to revive the lawsuit.
