The city council in Monroe, Ohio, tabled a casino agreement with the Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma.
The tribe has an existing agreement but it was site specific. The tribe sought a new deal to cover a 123-acre parcel near a major interstate.
The tribe has agreed to share up to 2 percent of net revenue over 10 years.
