The San Pasqual Band of Mission Indians has started a management services firm to offer its gaming expertise to other tribes.
The tribe operates the Valley View Casino. Executives said they want to share their knowledge in running the facility.
The new Casino Development Management Services Inc. will provide design, development, construction, management, marketing and financial services, The North County Times reported.
Others in Indian Country -- notably the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation and the Mohegan Tribe, both of Connecticut -- are offering financial backing, planning and other services to tribes seeking to develop casinos.
