The Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma is eyeing a new location for its proposed casino in Ohio.
The tribe has an intergovernmental agreement with the city of Monroe. The city's manager said a 100-acre site near Interstate 75 is being considered.
The tribe filed a land claim in Ohio in hopes of settling for gaming rights. A federal judge dismissed the case in April.
