The National Indian Gaming Commission has published its first training catalogue .
The catalogue provides information about training courses available to tribal leaders, gaming commissions, regulatory and compliance officials and other interested parties. The sessions will be conducted by NIGC staff and other experts.
“Indian gaming has become a significant economic factor throughout Indian country. With frequent changes in technology, regulatory and compliance issues, we feel there is a need to make available on an as requested basis all forms of technical assistance and training," said Chuck Choney, the vice chairman of the NIGC.
